My first glimpse of Ukraine as we crossed the border from Poland

I have just arrived back from Malawi and am in now in Ukraine - on a press trip. Today I am in Lviv but heading to Kyiv tomorrow. When I return to Scotland I will have lots to write about: about girls who are happy they are in school because it means they don’t have to “sell sex to older men”; to the army of women who keep their country going while their men fight Putin’s conscript army - now joined by North Korean troops.
