A public enquiry is long overdue.

Great stuff Susan. A public enquiry is essential- but who in the Scottish Parliament would be left untarnished? A handful- the majority of MSPs of every stripe are cheerleaders for Stonewall.

I think they may have jumped the shark with this latest, I’ve never seen so many angry ’normal folk’ on social media- sunlight is the best bleach, eh?

Shame on the Scottish Government for this and all the other misogynistic legislation they're proposing . Shows how much they actually hate women and NO WOMAN should vote for them ever again !! Such a disgrace and as for the remarks made by Benjamin Cohen of PINK NEWS that " only a small minority of vociferous people have expressed concern over this " that's just more lies !! Most of the public are still in the dark about it ,thanks to the silence and cowardice of the mainstream media ,but only the most woke" virtue signallers" or people afraid for their jobs would even remotely agree to something like this !!

Can I correct you on one comment please, Susan? NOBODY should vote for them ever again.

I'm a man & feel very strongly about this too! The Scottish Govt and many other politicians are behaving disgracefully. But when this particular train hits the buffers, as surely it will, we'll all have to endure the "reflection & lessons to be learned..." crap.

You're absolutely right and thank you for pointing that out. I am a Scottish citizen and I've never voted for them ,having always been a Labour voter. However ,I now feel i''m politically homeless as ,with the exception of the Tories ,the remaining parties are all supporting this policy ,so there is effectively no debate or even an alternative view being expressed , in parliament at least
